The space

Introducing the stunning one-bedroom condo at 4109 Coyote Fork, Truckee, CA — a true gem for year-round adventure enthusiasts. Perfectly situated for ski-in/ski-out access and bike-in/bike-out proximity at Northstar California Resort, this mountain sanctuary offers both exhilaration and serenity.

Top-tier amenities enhance every stay! Upon entering, you’ll discover a thoughtfully designed open-concept living area with views of the pine-clad slopes. The dimmable lighting lets you create the ambiance you desire, while the gas fireplace invites you to relax after a day on the mountain. Sink into the plush pull-out sofa and enjoy the generous 65-inch smart TV in this luxurious retreat. Complementary wifi is offered and is robust. Severe storms can impact the service, a charm of mountain life.
The fully equipped kitchen features full-size stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and various convenience appliances such as crock pots and a rice maker. The expandable counter-height dining table serves double duty as extra prep space, making it easy to prepare everything from casual breakfasts to gourmet dinners. The condo’s open plan makes for a comfortable dining experience.

A good night’s sleep is golden. The serene bedroom includes a 43-inch smart TV that tucks against the wall when not in use, ample storage, nightstand outlets on both sides, and dimmable overhead lights. The luxurious queen-sized bed has premium linens, a triple-sheet setup, and a choice of soft or firm pillows for restful nights. The sofa in the living room pulls out to a comfortable queen-sized bed. Should you need to spread out, we have also provided an additional Coleman ComfortSmart Deluxe Cot. All bed sheets and pillow cases are OEKO-TEX Certified.
The sleek, modern bathroom aims to provide a spa-like retreat. It is well-lit with dimmable lighting for visual comfort. A spacious glass-enclosed shower is equipped with a convenient hand-held sprayer. Consciously curated bath essentials and lotion (plant-based, free from parabens and phthalates, packaged with recyclable materials) are provided to care for you and the environment.

At the building, guests will have free parking for two vehicles (guest parking passes must be in the car and visible), have access to dedicated ski lockers, the shared laundry room, and convenient on-site commercial waste bins.

In summer, the mountain becomes a haven for hikers and mountain bikers. The Northstar Bike Park is renowned across California, offering thrilling downhill trails, scenic cross-country routes, and lift-serviced riding for all levels.
Stroll through the Village at Northstar to enjoy boutique shopping, local dining, live music, and family-friendly activities like roller skating, mini-golf, and bungee trampolines. The 9,000 sq. ft. rink at the center of the Village hosts skating year-round; ice in winter and wheels in summer, with equipment rentals available plus seasonal s’mores by the fire pits.

The Village at Northstar

This is your Year-Round Playground, all within a short stroll or shuttle ride from the condo.

Dining Options: Savor meals at popular eateries like Rubicon Pizza, Los Arcos Mexican Grill, Petra Wine Bar, Copper Lane Café, Frites Gourmet Fries, Wild Pine Kitchen, and Inclined Burgers &Brew. Enjoy a sweet treat at Euro Snack or charge up your morning at Vous, a classic coffee shop. Don’t miss Apres at the Cabana Bar, which is open during the resort’s winter season.

Boutique Shopping: Discover over a dozen shops, including Burton, Patagonia, Oakley, The North Face, and locally owned stores offering candles, pottery, and souvenirs.

Fun & Activities: The village’s centerpiece is a 9,000 sq. ft. rink that transforms from ice skating in the winter to roller skating in the summer (rentals available). Other seasonal activities include a bungee trampoline, gem panning, mini-golf, a spider climbing wall, a cinema, live music events, cozy fire pits, and complimentary s’mores offered seasonally.

NPOA Recreation Center
One of the best amenities is access to the Northstar Property Owners Association Recreation Center! NPOA Guest Access Badges are provided during your stay. A daily per-person access fee applies. NPOA 2025 season fees are:
$10 per person per day for all ages 5 and up.
Towel rentals are $2 for each towel. Pool towels are provided in the condo for your use.
As part of booking this condo, the owner will reimburse up to $40 of the NPOA fee per stay. However, due to NPOA procedures, guests will pay the fee upfront to NPOA, then submit the receipt for reimbursement. We wish it could be easier, too. Thank you for your understanding.

Outdoor Courts: During the summer, challenge friends and family on the tennis, pickelball, and basketball courts. Not your thing? Play some bocce ball!

Kids can enjoy the playground next to the BBQ and picnicking areas.

Comfortable Member Lounge: A large and spacious common area for quiet work, reading, or gathering, accessible year-round.

Visit the NPOA website for the seasonal schedule, availability, and hours of each amenity available during your stay. With dynamic offerings tailored for both summer adventures and winter escapes, the NPOA recreation center ensures every moment of your stay is filled with comfort, convenience, and endless fun.
As part of booking this condo, the owner will reimburse one (1) day of Rec Center Use ($10) per registered guest. Due to NPOA’s procedures, guests will need to pay the fee to NPOA upfront, then submit the receipt to the property owner. Once received, a Visa e-Gift Card will be provided for the value, up to $10 per guest on the reservation within 30-45 Days after departure.

Convenience & Transportation:
The Northstar Transportation offers free shuttle service throughout the Village and Northstar resort area, making it easy to get around. Everything is within reach, whether you’re heading to the lifts, the lodge, the Recreation Center, or simply exploring the Northstar Resort property. The shuttle stop is just outside the building, less than a minute’s walk.

First time in Truckee or Northstar? Don’t worry, getting around is stress-free and straightforward.

ARRIVING BY AIR
Reno-Tahoe International Airport is only 45 minutes away. If you’re flying in, you can easily rent a car or take a private shuttle to Northstar and settle in without skipping a beat.

BY CAR
Arriving by car is easy. From I-80, take the Hwy 267 exit toward Lake Tahoe / Sierraville, and you’ll arrive in under 10 minutes. You will have Guest parking passes for up to two vehicles within the Ski Trails Condominium parking lots. There is convenient parking adjacent to the building.

Around the area, downtown Truckee is a 15-minute scenic drive away from Northstar Resort. Lake Tahoe’s north shore (Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Crystal Bay) is 10 minutes to the east.

FREE NORTHSTAR SHUTTLE
Once you’ve arrived, you might not even need your car. Northstar Resort runs a complimentary on-demand shuttle system that picks up and drops off within steps of the condo doors. Whether you’re heading to the Village, NPOA Rec Center, the golf course, or visiting a friend staying elsewhere within the resort, simply use the Northstar Transportation mobile app, and they’ll take you there.

ON FOOT
It’s an under-10-minute downhill walk from your front door to the Village at Northstar. The shops, restaurants, skating rink, gear rental, movie theater, and ski lifts are within a comfortable strolling distance. In the summer, bike trails connect right from your door. In the winter, you’re on the lift in minutes. Walk across the parking lot or down Coyote Fork towards the Condo Run ski trail. Ski down to catch the Village Express Lift, or enter the Village to access the Big Springs Express Gondola.

Notes

Parking Guest Passes: The unit provides two hanging Guest Parking passes and must be hung on the vehicle mirror upon arrival. Additional vehicles must be parked in overflow areas as Northstar enforces strict parking regulations, especially during peak seasons. They will tow any vehicle that does not correctly display a Guest parking pass. Please note that unless designated for lodging guests, Northstar otherwise does not provide for overnight parking in the general parking lots.

NPOA Guest Access: You’ll receive two guest badges for entry to the Northstar Property Owners Association (NPOA) Recreation Center. A reminder that a daily access fee (paid directly to NPOA) applies per guest. See above for details.

Ski / Snowboard Storage: A secure, designated locker is available for storing skis and snowboards. Please do not bring gear inside the condo to avoid damage or additional cleaning fees.

Shared Laundry: The building offers a clean, shared laundry facility just steps from your door. You’ll find detergent stocked in the unit to use during your stay. Use of the laundry facility is complimentary. All users are asked to be prompt and remove their items when the cycles are complete. Etiquette and rules are posted in the laundry room.

No daily maid or linen changes: As is typical for short-term vacation rentals, there will not be daily maid service or linen changes during your stay. Should you require clean linens, please use the provided shared laundry facility.. The property will be supplied with general cleaning supplies.

Quiet Hours: Northstar observes quiet hours between 9 PM and 8 AM, as set by the Placer County Short-term Rental Program. Please kindly be respectful of neighbors and other guests enjoying the tranquility of the mountains.

No A/C: This condo, as with most mountain homes in the region and all condos within this HOA, does not have air conditioning. Operable windows and fans are provided for airflow and cooling during the summer months.

Wildlife Awareness: Northstar is surrounded by forest, and wildlife is part of the experience. Please do not leave food, trash, or scented items outside, and always close doors and windows when unattended.

Village Events: Northstar often hosts live music, festivals, and outdoor events, especially in summer and around holidays. While this adds to the vibrancy of your stay, it may also bring more activity around the property.

Stay Connected: Fast Wi-Fi is provided, perfect for streaming, remote work, or sharing your Tahoe adventures. As is common in mountainous areas, severe storms can impact the internet service, and restoration is subject to the provider.
