Jessica’s home is just as described in the listing! The location is great and very convenient for staying near the north side of Tahoe with easy access to 80 and 89 freeways to get around. Kitchen is well stocked with spices, utensils, glassware, stoneware, etc. Everything is very clean and well organized as well as comfortable. Hot tub was working great and already hot when we arrived. Communication was simple and clear and instructions were accurate for everything we needed. We had a great time, and would love to stay again!

The place was perfect for all of us

We will definitely be back! We booked this stay for our college aged kids to join us for a ski week. The place was perfect for all of us. The pool table and fuze-ball table got a lot of play. We were one of the first stays for them… so we had a few glitches that needed to be fixed. Ken was so helpful and very responsive. Even in a blizzard, he made everything work perfectly.

Plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone

We really enjoyed staying in this area of Truckee. We were centrally located, close to downtown, close to Palisades, close to NorthStar and only 25 minutes away from Sugar Bowl. We were a .5 mile walk to Fifty/Fifty Brewing Company, which was a nice lunch spot.

For our family of 5, the house had plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone. We really enjoyed the hot tub, we used it every evening after a long day of skiing or snow play. It was also really nice to have a fenced in backyard for our small dogs. Our boys enjoyed having the pool table and the PacMan arcade on the 2nd floor.

I can only really say WOW. This has been one of my favorite experiences on Airbnb – Ken’s house has everything you need, and is both very cosy and very spacious. We would love to come back very soon- it was a magical cabin home away from home.
The house is clean, well maintained, has everything you need to have a great vacation: new plates, cups, silverware, great collection of games, vinyls, big fenced backyard, garage, sauna and jacuzzi.

It was a lovely home for my family to enjoy. My kids, ages 16 to 1 year old, loved the space and furniture. There was plenty of entertainment for the weekend, from arcade games to board games to the clean and easy-to-use sauna/hot tub. Next time, we will book this home earlier to enjoy it with the snow.

The amenities were so worth it! Planned to snowboard but due to bad weather decided to stay in the cabin all weekend and it did not disappoint! The hot tub and sauna were so nice on a rainy day. The beds were very comfy for an AirBnb as well. Also learned to play mahjong as they had a table. Would recommend and would book again!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at so far! We really enjoyed the arcade games, hot tub, fireplace, and barrel sauna—it made for such a relaxing and fun experience. The issue was there was ZERO communication prior to check in. We emailed multiple times and got NO replies…..total bush league stuff…abnb loves to tout their super hosts…..
You can’t be a super host if you won’t talk to your guests. We had a specific question prior to check in & got nothing…..

My husband and I, along with our standard poodle Rosie, stayed 4 nights at this lovely house. Great location -only a 4 minute drive into town. On a very quiet street, and easy to find. The entire house was spotless-kudos to the cleaning crew. The kitchen is well stocked, plentiful dishes, cups and glasses.

Comfortable primary suite upstairs with a nice large bathroom.

We hope to return on our next visit to the area.

Ken’s place was very clean and accommodated my group comfortably. Everything we normally use at home was available to us! The hot tub and sauna were a great touch after swimming in the cooler water of Lake Tahoe. My wife, infant daughter, and our small dog stayed here for a week in September while visiting family. Could not have asked for a more peaceful and comfortable home base for exploring the Truckee and Tahoe area.

House was immaculately clean and the kitchen was well stocked with new and fancy appliances like an espresso machine and a Japanese rice cooker.

The quiet, wooded street was perfect for walks with our child and dog, and there’s a little shopping center just a few minutes away with a great coffee shop and the best brewpub in town, 50/50.

The backyard–wow! Unlike in many rentals, the hot tub was in near pristine shape and the jets are POWERFUL. Likewise, the sauna was amazing. I recommend alternating between the two after a long day of hiking/biking/skiiing–you’ll sleep like a baby.
