We stayed at the “Glass House” during the Winter Storm in December 2021. The house is a very nice house. It has many windows and is very open and airy feeling. It is furnished nicely with multiple TVs, a 1 Gig internet connection, Wifi, 4 zone HVAC, good size washer dryer, large fridge, two coffee makers (K cup type and drip). Ken even provides ground coffee!

Ken is very informative with all the videos on how to use the fireplace, HVAC, motorized & remote control blinds, etc. The upstairs master bath has a deep tub attached to a large shower area, which reminds me of a Japanese bath. A soak in the deep tub was very welcome after playing in the snow both for adults and kids (the hot tub on the deck would have been nice, but it was buried in snow). The only improvement here would be to have a bigger water pipe to the tub as filling the tub took some time, so plan ahead.

Ken was the best host I have dealt with ever in all the AirBnB homes I have stayed in.

What an amazing space!

What an amazing space! After staying right in Incline Village in an air b&b that did not meet our needs, we booked this little piece of paradise very last minute. It saved our trip! While you are 25 minutes outside of Incline Village area, the short drive is worth it for the comfort and piece of mind. Unlike many homes on the lake, there is AC in this home in addition to any amenity you may need. The pictures display this perfectly and I am sure it will exceed your expectations. Truckee is an adorable town with a ton to do! Outside activities near Donner Lake and a ton of cute restaurants minutes away. There is also a local grocery store that has anything you may need. The house is clean, beds are comfortable and the host is very communicative and helpful. We hope to stay here if we ever return to the Lake Tahoe area! Do not hesitate- book this spot! Ken’s home is a dream. So many amenities that we took full advantage of from the sauna and hot tub to the pinball and popcorn machines. Our kids didn’t want to leave. They thought of everything including leaving children’s Motrin which ended up coming in handy as our son fell sick during our stay. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is large and well equipped. Master bath is very nice with soaking tub AND rainfall shower head. Location is lovely and super close to all the Truckee has to offer and easy drive to Palisades where we went skiing. Ken was super responsive and was kind enough to put up a Christmas tree and stockings for our stay over the holidays l. Literally can’t say enough good things. This was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you Ken!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Glass House! It was just as beautiful as the pictures promised! The amenities were fantastic, and we particularly loved the hot tub and sauna, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day on the slopes. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the chef’s kitchen was a fantastic bonus for preparing meals.

Communication with our host was quick and convenient, making the check-in process seamless. This home is ideal for a ski weekend, offering plenty of entertainment and relaxation options right within the house.

We would absolutely love to come back and rent this spot again in the future!

This rental was truly fantastic and the host was very responsive and immediately available to help, when the need arose. The only caveat is that one of the bedrooms is not quite a full bedroom, but a small room with a Murphy bed. So if you have 4 families/couples traveling together, someone will have to get the short end of the stick with that room.

I have nothing but good to say about this glass house, there is a lot to do in the hose pool table, video games, Netflix, chilling in the big living room with the family having popcorn watching squid game. My friends and I had an excellent stay at Ken’s Truckee retreat. The kitchen is EVERYTHING you could ask for and more for having a large group to prepare for and sharing meals together. The yard area is so much fun with activities for all and we loved the s’mores kit upon arrival as well. We took advantage of all the amenities (pool, hot tub, sauna) and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. Would come back again!

What a beautiful Airbnb! Once we walked in, we instantly felt right at home. There was such a nice ambiance throughout the home and every room was pristine. I would warn any future host about Galla. Used our house as a burning man cleaning station. Unapproved guests, RVs broken down on the road, playa dust contamination all over our yard and home, grass ruined they pitched over 8 tents in our yard. Drug use and paraphernalia left all over the house, playa dust destroyed our saltwater hot tub had to purchase new filters. Excessive cleaning disrupted our neighborhood with numerous complaints stayed outside all night long partying. We would never ever recommend Galla or any of her guests to future host. It’s a sad experience after a decade of renting our home with Airbnb.

Ken’s place was beautiful and overall a great stay! We had a smooth experience, Ken was very communicative and helpful, and any small concerns we had were quickly resolved.

A couple of things for future guests to keep in mind: the neighbors are very sensitive to noise, so it’s best to keep quiet after 9 p.m. (even two of us chatting on the terrace at 11:30 p.m. led to a complaint). Also, the layout is a bit unique, there’s one main bathroom downstairs for 8 people, plus another one in the master bedroom upstairs. It worked fine for us, but worth noting if you’re a larger group.

Other than that, the house was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay!

This is the house you wish you owned! It’s more like a palace or a resort than a home but has that cozy feel that makes it homey. From the moment I got out of the car I was in awe of how beautiful the house was. Then we walked in and it was pure excitement! Not just because it was pretty but it had so many bells and whistles. A gym in the garage and pool table. Beautiful yard with corn hole and a fire pit. Popcorn machine and Nintendo. Hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. The rooms all came with King beds with perfect pillows and bedding.

The master suite??? a dream!

We only had 2 nights here but utilized all it had to offer. Ken was available and responsive via the app (not that we needed him, they provide a link to use to access instructions on how to use everything in the house).

10/10 experience!!

We had our sons 13th birthday here and everyone agreed it was the best birthday celebration ever.

The first thing we all noticed was how clean the home was in our arrival, and the interior design is so beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped for a group to cook homemade meals. There were plenty of games and activities to keep everyone occupied-I wish we could have stayed much longer to enjoy more!
