Great location for skiing at Northstar. Short drive to King’s beach and 2 playgrounds was great for travel with little ones. Very spacious and could easily host the number of people that they state but equally cozy for just 1 family too.

We had a wonderful time staying at Ken’s fabulous Airbnb! Our group included 8 people—5 adults, 3 kids—and two dogs, and the space was absolutely perfect for us.

One of the highlights was definitely the sauna. It’s rare to find an Airbnb with one, and it made a special and relaxing experience. The home itself is spotlessly clean, beautifully put together, and has a cozy feel that made us feel right at home.

The location is also ideal for a North Lake Tahoe adventure. There’s a trail in the neighborhood with beautiful lake view for a relaxing walk. The house is also just 10 minutes from the Kings beach and downtown area, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants and a Safeway for groceries. It’s also a convenient 30-minute drive to both Truckee and Tahoe City, as well as to Sand Harbor.

Ken was incredibly responsive & helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed. We truly had a great time and would high this place!

Having a car offers the most flexibility. From the private driveway, Kings Beach and Truckee are just a short drive away, with Northstar close by and Diamond Peak easily reachable as well. Tahoe City, Incline Village, and nearby state parks are also within easy driving distance, allowing you to move effortlessly between outdoor activities, dining, and sightseeing. Public transportation is available through the local bus system, which provides free service throughout much of North Lake Tahoe. Nearby stops connect Tahoe Vista with Kings Beach, Tahoe City, and surrounding areas, offering a relaxed alternative to driving. For guests who enjoy walking or biking, the area features scenic routes that lead to parks, shoreline access, and neighboring communities.
