If you book a weekday stay, the HOA is completing work on and around the property. This includes pathway restoration, landscape clean-up and redesign, cinderblock painting on the bottoms of the units, foundation repairs, and window washing. These are major projects that are being completed to bring the enjoyment of the community up but also for the integrity of the buildings in the area. If you think this may be a factor that will disturb your enjoyment, please do not book. They sometimes start work early in the day. I do not contract this work as it is done through the HOA. Completion of these projects do not end until fall (approximately).

Silver Strike is fully appointed: appliances, pots, pans, utensils, coffeemaker (Keurig and pot), milk frother, kettle, and more! I also have a new gas BBQ on the deck! Please bring your own BBQ tools if you’re particular about what you like to cook with. I have just added a blow-up roll-away mattress if you decide not to use the pull-out couch in the living area.

Guest access
Entire unit! HOA amenities are included if you desire, for $5 a day per person. The Northstar HOA amenities include an adult center, fitness center, main pool, lap pool, spa, splash pad, and kiddie pool. HOA shuttle is available by downloading the Northstar Transportation App and requesting a shuttle to your location. Northstar shuttle service can vary by season. Please check with NPOA to see what is available during your stay.
Other things to note
We require a 2-night minimum stay for insurance purposes. 3-day weekends have a 3-day minimum requirement and are subject to higher rates. Please inquire for holiday rates. All Fridays and Saturdays must be booked together.
- One parking pass
- Check-in is at 4 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-out is 11 AM on the day of departure. If the cleaner arrives and you are still in the unit, there is a $50 return trip charge.
- No cable TV. Amazon Firestick is available. I have added flat-screen TVs in both bedrooms for your pleasure.
- A $150 pet fee will be added to the trip after your booking if you plan to bring your pet. I love pets! 95% of the people who book this listing do bring pets with them. However, I do ask that if you plan on bringing your best friend, please do not use Silver Strike as your kennel. Bringing your pet on vacation means that you bring them with you and this area is very dog friendly. Animals can get anxious being in a new location. There is a greater chance of accidents and many more issues. I also ask that if you have to leave them unattended, you bring their home or kennel with you. This keeps them safe and from causing damage if they are stressed. Thank you for understanding. I know how expensive it is to board a pet or have a pet sitter come to your home so this is an amenity I choose to allow for the convenience of guests — as long as the property is respected.
