Winter travelers will love the close proximity of this lovely rental to the slopes at Sugar Bowl, just five miles up Old Historic 40.

Guests have access to the entire cabin during their stay, the 1 car garage is off-limits as the owner’s personal items are stored there for safekeeping.
Other things to note
Snowy conditions in the Sierra will slow your travel times, so please factor this into your stay at Donner Lake.
Holiday 3-day weekends will slow travel times due to traffic congestion in and out of Truckee. We highly recommend an extended stay or later checkout during these holidays, especially if you are traveling over Donner Summit. Please ask your host for more information on these traveling arrangements as it really helps avoid the dreaded 10-hour drive home to parts of Northern California or the Sacramento Airport.
