House is very spacious. Communication about check-in / out procedures and accessing amenities was great. The actual unit number should have been in the written instructions instead of only shown in a picture. Additionally, heat went to all rooms except the master bedroom.

Excellent stay – heat wave hit in low 90’s the days we were there so it was great to have the AC units on wheels with baffle tubes extending to screened windows in each room and some fans. Took a minute to figure out how to set up the ac window mounts but wasn’t hard. Clean and simple layout was perfect for our 2 kids with 2 1/2 baths as well. Double space uncovered parking was right in front of the front door which was convenient.

Lanyard with key card for access to pools/hot tub (not listed in instructions but the owner/mgmt service responded immediately to all questions we had.)

Easy walk (or bike) to Sugar Pine Bakery to public Lake Forest Beach/Skylandia beach & pier.

All the basics, plenty of tp/paper towels/towels/blankets and stackable laundry next to kitchen.

Only negative was our (locked) car was broken into the last night we were there. Luckily we didn’t have any valuables inside and brought the bikes in each night but was unnerving regardless.

We had a relaxing and peaceful stay at Ken’s place. It had just the right amount of space for the four of us (two parents, two young adult kids). It was clean, comfortable and everyone had a room of their own (which is very necessary for my 17 and 20 year old). The location was beautiful, convenient and walking distance to a park and beach surrounded by forest. Looking forward to our next stay!

This is a nice unit and a very nice complex, and I have stayed in this complex many times. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and responsive to any questions we had. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was because the closet for the master bedroom was locked off for the owner’s use and there was nothing in the bedroom (like an armoire) to put my clothes. Fortunately we were only using two of the three bedrooms, so I was able to put my clothes in the small extra bedroom, but I was there for three weeks and this was a bit of an annoyance. And had we used all three bedrooms I would’ve had nowhere to put my stuff and have to live out of my suitcase. It was nice to have two bathrooms upstairs but shower in the shared bathroom made a loud squeaking sound when running the hot water. I think it’s from the on demand water heater which may be struggling a little bit for some reason with that bathroom.

We stayed at this apartment for a family ski trip. The host Ken sent us clear instructions ahead of time to ensure smooth check-in even when we arrived late right before midnight due to bad snowing conditions. When we encountered heating problem in the first night, Ken jumped on the issue immediately and arranged fixes in the very next day to make sure we had a warm home when we came back from a great ski day. Overall we like the experience very much and would recommend this place to our friends for sure.

Can’t say enough about Ken as a host. Great communication and willingness to help. We got hit by a big storm on the day we were set to leave, and Ken was extremely helpful in helping us to navigate through it. The place was newly renovated and completely clean. Nice bathrooms and kitchen.
