We had a great 2 days at Ken’s place. Clean. Quiet. Just as advertised.

Dennis K.

The condo was cleaned and well kept. The description on the listing was matched perfectly! The unit was well stocked with quality items, from bedding to kitchen utensils, toiletries and more. The location is perfect and serene. It was an absolute gem to vacation in. Ken responded timely and was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this rental.

Jeanette B.

The place was exactly as described in the listing — clean, cozy, and well-located. It was within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and local attractions, which made getting around very convenient. The check-in guide was clear and included helpful links for everything from check-in/out procedures to local recommendations.

That said, during the summer heat, the lack of air conditioning made it quite warm inside, which may be something to consider if you’re sensitive to high temperatures. Also, a few of the dishes weren’t fully clean when we arrived, but this was a minor issue.

Overall, a pleasant stay with great accessibility

Notes

Terms & Conditions: Upon confirming a booking, you will receive a standard check-in form that includes Yeti Cohosting LLC’s Terms & Conditions. Guests must sign and agree to these terms prior to arrival.

Parking Guest Passes: Two hanging Guest Parking Passes will be located immediately to your right as you enter the condo. Passes per car must be hung on the vehicle mirror when parked in the Ski Trails Condominium parking area. Additional vehicles beyond the permitted two cars must be parked in overflow areas, as Northstar enforces strict parking regulations, especially during peak seasons. They will tow any vehicle that does not display a Guest Parking Pass correctly. It will be the guest’s sole responsibility and cost to retrieve their towed vehicle. Please note that unless specifically designated for lodging guests, Northstar does not allow overnight parking in the general parking lots.

NPOA Rec Center Guest Access Passes: Access to the NPOA Rec Center will be via Guest Badges. Badges are in the unit upon entry. A reminder that there is a DAILY ACCESS FEE of $10 per person, per day, for anyone ages 5 and up. This must be paid upon Rec Center entry and is valid for the entire day.

Ski / Snowboard Storage: During winter, a secure, designated locker is available for storing skis and snowboards. Please do not bring the ear inside the condo to avoid damage or additional cleaning fees.

Bicycle Storage: The condo complex does not provide bicycle storage. If you prefer to bring your bicycles into the unit (limited to the tiled entryway only), the property owner has provided large furniture pads to cover the bikes when leaning them against the wall. Additional cleaning fees will apply if additional cleaning (e.g. wheel marks on carpet) or repairs are necessary due to bicycles being brought into the unit.

Shared Laundry: The building offers a clean, shared laundry facility just steps from your door. Detergent is stocked in the unit for use during your stay. Use of the laundry facility is complimentary. All users are asked to be prompt and remove their items when the cycles are complete. Etiquette and rules are posted in the laundry room.

No daily maid or linen changes: As is typical for short-term vacation rentals, there will not be daily maid service or linen changes during your stay. Should you desire your linens to be refreshed or cleaned, please use the shared laundry facility noted above.

Noise: The property is part of a multi-unit condominium building with neighbors above and on both sides. While the unit is well constructed, it is not soundproof, as is the case with all multi-unit buildings in Northstar built in the same era. In our experience, the through-wall / through-ceiling ambient noise from neighbors is very minor, provided the neighbors are respectful and not having exceptionally loud parties or stomping on the floor above.

Quiet Hours: Northstar observes quiet hours outside the unit between 10 PM and 8 AM, as set by local ordinances, HOA, and community standards. Please kindly be respectful of neighbors and other guests enjoying the tranquility of the mountains.

No Air Conditioning: This property does not have air conditioning, which is typical for nearly all mountain homes in the region and all Ski Trails Condominium units. Operable windows and a fan are provided for airflow and cooling.

Dog / Pet Policy: We welcome your pup to 4109 Coyote Fork! However, due to the size of the unit, we must limit it to one (1) dog. Guests must disclose their intent to bring a dog upon booking. A Pet Fee of $250 will be charged per stay, in addition to the standard cleaning fee. The Pet Policy is included in the Terms & Conditions document. We ask guests who are approved to bring a dog to review that section specially and will be asked to agree to those terms before arrival. General requirements include: (1) Please bring a crate and dog bed for your pup. (2) The dog cannot be left inside the property unattended. Even the most well-behaved dogs can be unpredictable in new environments. (3) Guests are fully responsible for any and all damage, accidents, excessive cleaning, or disturbances caused by the dog. (4) Guests agree to cover the full cost of repairs, replacements, or extra cleaning resulting from the dog.

Wildlife Awareness: Northstar is surrounded by forest, and wildlife is part of the experience. Please do not leave food, trash, or scented items outside, and always close doors and windows when unattended.

Village Events: Northstar Village often hosts live music, festivals, and outdoor events throughout the year, especially in summer and around the holidays. While this adds to the vibrancy of your stay, it may also bring more activity around the property.

Stay Connected: Robust Wi-Fi is provided for streaming content, remote work, or sharing your Tahoe adventures. As is common in mountainous areas, severe storms can impact the internet service, and restoration is subject to the provider.
